Fanem does USD 850.000,00 in business at the 17th Hospitalar
FANEM, a leading Brazilian manufacturer of neonatology products, finished the 17th International Fair of Products, Equipment, Services and Technology for Hospitals, Laboratories and Clinics (HOSPITALAR 2010) with USD 850.000,00 in new deals and the expectation of achieving triple this amount in sales during the months ahead, as a result of contacts made during the event.
“The attendees were very receptive to our message and we are optimistic about the results we can achieve in the coming months, concerning the sale of products launched at the fair, especially the Stork Rover Neonatal Transport System, model 2158, although we are still awaiting ANVISA approval to being commercializing the new products”, said Djalma Rodrigues, Industrial Director at FANEM.
On 25-28 May, the company received hundreds of visitors, among them representatives and buyers from 20 foreign countries including Peru, Thailand, Colombia, Portugal, Mexico, Israel, India, Indonesia and the United States, among others. This year, the company presented three new products at the Hospitalar: the advanced Stork Rover Neonatal Transportation System; Bilitron® Sky model 5006, the 7th generation system in phototherapy; and Multitester Thor 3620, a portable measuring instrument.
Another highlight at the FANEM stand was AMPLA, a true neonatal intensive care unit apparatus, as well as the laboratory line, including the new Excelsa™ Flex centrifuge model 3400 for blood bank services, clinical laboratories, radioimmunoassay(RIA) and cytology.
